PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Vortex Razor HD 4000 is a laser rangefinder with HD optics designed for sport shooters and hunters, which allows you to accurately measure the target distance of up to 3600 m with an accuracy of 0.9 m.
Its ultra lightweight body made of polymer with a non-slip surface weighs only 280 g, so it can be easily carried slung around the neck or waist. The perfectly sealed surface effectively protects internal electronics from water and dust.
Crystal clear images in all conditions are provided by the HD Vortex optical system, which is protected by a multi-layer XR coating. Anti-reflective layers ensure high light transmission and brightness even in low light conditions. The HD optics themselves have exceptional resolution, effectively reducing chromatic aberration and ensuring accurate color reproduction and edge-to-edge sharpness in the field of view. In addition, each lens is coated with an ultra-hard ArmourTek coating.
The measurement result is projected on a TOLED display, which is optimized for use in adverse lighting conditions. In case of a dark target, the optics have a contrast red illumination. Thanks to the wide field of view, we can observe moving objects even at the highest magnification (x7).
The 25 mm diameter lens has a field of view angle of 6.5° and a minimum measuring distance of 4.5 m.
Two buttons are used to control the device, which can be used to turn on the device or to display the settings menu.
The power supply is a single CR123 battery with a lifetime of up to 4000 measurements.
Vortex Razor HD 4000 offers the following measurement modes:
- NORMAL: displays the distance of the actual target
- FIRST: displays the distance of the target in the foreground
- LAST: shows the distance of the target in the background
- HCD: displays the distance of the target in the same plane as the rangefinder
- LOS: angle compensation mode for ballistic calculator operation
- ELR: distance measurement at the largest distances
- SCAN: provides a continuous indication of the distance of a moving target
