Glock 17 Gen5 T4E is a licensed replica of the legendary Austrian service pistol Glock. It uses rubber and peppercorn projectiles of .43 caliber (10.9 mm) as ammunition.
This RAM pistol is designed to be fun to shoot, and its appearance and performance will deter even potential attackers. Thus, it will also find utility in the field of personal and property security. No one will cross with a Glock.
The combination of a durable polymer frame and a breech made of solid aluminum alloy significantly reduces the weight of the entire weapon. Still, it feels very solid and you can feel it in your hand.
The propulsion is handled by a 12g CO2 cartridge inserted into the magazines. This also serves for the ammunition itself and holds eight projectiles. You can also get paintball pellets in this caliber - the gun can then serve as a backup during play. According to the manufacturer, the capacity of one bomb is 40 shots. According to the manufacturer, the energy of the shots should not exceed 5 J and the muzzle velocity fits within 110 m/s.
The gun has a trigger mechanism in single action mode. However, the trigger does not pull the hammer mechanism, it only activates it - through this design, the squeeze is very gentle. Before the first shot is fired, the slide has to be pulled back and then released forward - after that, the automatic blowback system takes care of cocking the hammer, which cocking the pistol after each shot. After the first shot, all you have to do is keep pulling the trigger like a live firearm.
The trigger is protected against accidental firing by a so-called tongue safety - it must be pressed simultaneously with the center trigger. Otherwise, the gun will not be disarmed and will not fire.
The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 T4E rimfire pistol is an excellent replica, which will reliably deter potential aggressors, but at the same time you will have a lot of fun with it.
