PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Dogtrace d-control 300 Aqua spray collar is an excellent alternative to classic training collars. It works on a similar principle to the classic d-control collar. It sends a sound signal when a command is disobeyed, and uses vibration if the dog disobeys. However, if the dog still does not respond, it does not send an electrical pulse into the dog's body, but sprays a unpleasant cooling spray towards the dog's muzzle.
The spray collar is significantly more sensitive than its electric version. You are not causing the dog pain, only discomfort. This makes it suitable for training more sensitive dogs of all breeds. The distance between the collar (receiver) and the controller (transmitter) can be up to 300 m under ideal conditions. Although the collar is more gentle than the electric one, do not use it carelessly. Even so, it may still cause the dog to resist training. Under no circumstances should the controller be entrusted to small children.
The collar uses spray correction in combination with an audible signal. Even the sound emitted when the spray is used is enough to disturb the dog from inappropriate behaviour. You can send the spray correction in short or long intervals. You can also set a different correction pulse intensity for each. For the short ones, it is 5 levels, for the long ones 10 different levels. Spray refills are available with citronella and lavender aroma or without aroma. The collar can deliver 300 spray corrections per fill.
The kit consists of a receiver with a blue woven strap weighing just 74g, a receiver with a lanyard for hanging around the neck, a battery and a citronella-scented spray refill. The transmitter with LCD display weighs 57 g and has only 8 buttons, each of which has a clear function at a glance. With one controller you can train 2 dogs with a spray collar (second collar not included).
