The Colt Single Action Army SAA.45 was first introduced to the public in 2015 at a trade show in Germany.
The all-metal frame of the revolver has a shiny nickel finish with gold accessories. The Polymer barrels mimic ivory in appearance. Cartridges filled with steel BB pellets are inserted into a 6-chambered drum. The long 7.5" barrel with smooth bore achieves good accuracy and high muzzle velocity.
The internal mechanism is powered by a 12g CO2 bomb which is inserted into the handle when the barrel is unscrewed. The trigger mechanism operates only in Single Action mode. In this case, it is necessary to pull the two-position trigger before each shot. A light pull will only rotate the hammer, only a full pull to the rear position will prepare the revolver for firing. The hammer can only be turned when the hammer is in the first cocked position. The revolver can be secured by a manual safety located in front of the hammer.
