Just like its predecessors, this model has borrowed its name from the animal kingdom – this time it carries the name of a highly venomous snake from the cobra family.
AirMaks Krait retains very compact dimensions and a relatively pleasant weight thanks to its bullpup design. The overall length of the gun does not exceed 605 mm and its weight is 2.5 kg.
Shrouded barrel with a 1/17 twist rate is 400 mm long and its muzzle is threaded 1/2x20 UNF for mounting an external sound moderator.
The precisely machined metal stock is equipped with a height-adjustable cheekpiece and a rubber butt pad, with both length and height adjustment. Excellent ergonomic properties are further enhanced by an anatomically shaped AR-15 standard pistol grip. Its shape is adapted for right-handed shooters and the rubberised, anti-slip surface ensures a firm grip in every situation.
The side lever has a very smooth action and can easily be swapped to the other side if needed. The magazine holds 14 pellets in 6.35 mm calibre.
Two-stage trigger is fully adjustable and directly above it is a manual safety, which can also be moved to the other side.
The Kevlar air cylinder holds up to 300 cc of air and its maximum fill pressure is 300 Bar. The Power Plenum has a capacity of 60 cc and there is also an externally adjustable pressure regulator. The rifle is fitted with two manometers. The first one is located on the left side and is used to monitor the pressure in the Power Plenum. The second manometer is on the right side and displays the current pressure in the air cylinder.
Picatinny rail with a 20 MOA incline allows you to mount a rifle scope, and three additional rails of the same standard are located on the sides and under the cylinder. These allow you to attach further tactical accessories.
