Let us present the brand new member of the family of PCP airguns from Czech manufacturer AirMaks Arms. Just like its predecessors, this model had also borrowed its name from the animal kingdom – this time it’s named after a highly venomous snake belonging to the cobra family.
AirMaks Krait is a compact and lightweight bullpup with an overall length of 605 mm and its weight reaches just about 2,5 kg.
The shrouded barrel with the 1/17 twist rate has a length of 400 mm and its muzzle is outfitted with the 1/2x20 UNF thread for an external sound moderator.
The precisely machined metal stock features a height adjustable cheekpiece and a rubber buttpad that can be adjusted for both length and height. Its excellent ergonomic properties are further extended by the anatomically shaped AR-15 grip. The grip was designed for right-handed shooters and has a rubberized anti-slip surface for safe handling in any situation.
The cocking lever has a very smooth action and you can easily attach it to the other side. The magazine has a capacity of fourteen .22 caliber (6,35 mm) pellets and all models in this caliber are also outfitted with an anti-double feed system.
The two-stage trigger is fully adjustable and the manual safety is placed directly above it. The safety can also be swapped to the other side.
The kevlar air bottle has a capacity of 300 cc and a maximum fill pressure of 300 Bar. The Power Plenum can hold a 600 cc of and the gun also comes with an externally adjustable pressure regulator and two pressure gauges. The first gauge is located on the left side of the rifle and shows the current pressure in the Power Plenum. The other gauge shows the pressure in the air bottle.
