Another in a series of successful Umarex replicas of the legendary fifth generation Glock 17 pistol. Like the previous models, this one has a faithful blowback system and works in semi-automatic mode, as the slide takes care of the cocking. With this gun model, you cannot secure the bolt in the rear position, as with a real 9mm gun.
The mechanism is powered by a CO2 12g cartridge that is placed directly into the magazine. The gas is injected into the system via a screw at the bottom of the magazine. By tightening (using the included hex key), the bolt comes up and moves the capsule to the spike, which opens the it and pressurizes the firing system.
Umarex has chosen conventional pellets as the ammunition here. This is made possible through a special ammunition belt made of rubber inside the magazine. It can hold up to 21 rounds. The pellets combined with the rifled barrel give the gun solid accuracy. The slide is also fitted with simple but reliable metal sights.
The trigger mechanism is a combination of single and double action. The trigger itself does not cock the gun, but moves the ammunition belt inside the magazine. The safety is located at the front of the barrel.
Both in dimensions, weight and mechanism the replica and the original are very similar and the 22 mm Weaver rail will allow you to attach tactical accessories. You will not be deprived of the feeling of shooting.
