The Daisy Red Ryder air rifle was first introduced in 1940 and is one of the best-selling weapons both in our e-shop and worldwide. It is a replica of the classic Winchester rifle from the Wild West, from which it borrows not only its appearance but also its chambering system (known as Lever Action). In addition to its low purchase price, the rifle also boasts an engraved oak buttstock and a high-quality all-metal frame. Thanks to its low weight and comfortable dimensions, it can be easily handled even by children aged 10 and above, who can learn basic shooting skills under parental supervision.
Its closest competitor is the Marlin air rifle from German manufacturer Umarex, which was introduced just this year. Both weapons share the same calibre and are nearly identical in weight and size. The main difference with the Marlin model is that its stock is made of plastic instead of wood, which is reflected in its lower purchase price. Nevertheless, these rifles will be appreciated mainly by fans of Western films, but also by anyone who wants to buy an affordable air rifle for recreational shooting in their backyard. But which one is better? Find out in today's comparison:
