This is a break-barrel air rifle in 5.5 mm calibre. It has a wooden stock with
a Monte Carlo cheekpiece, a sound moderator, and a 425 mm long rifled barrel.

Compared to classic break‑barrel spring‑piston air rifles, the SPA Artemis GR1600W has an advantage. Instead of a spring it uses an air‑pressurised piston. Thanks to this, the rifle delivers a more consistent performance, is quieter, produces less recoil and can compete with a wide range of air rifles.
It has an ergonomically shaped wooden stock with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece, finished with a rubber buttpad. This absorbs recoil very well. Thanks to the chequered/grippy surface of the stock, the rifle sits securely in the hand and the shooter can be much more confident in their aim. Confidence is further enhanced by the 425 mm long rifled barrel.
At the end of the barrel there is a sound moderator. In combination with the piston used, the air rifle will be very quiet. The barrel is fitted with sport sights with both elevation and windage‑adjustable rear sight. If the open sights are not enough for you, you can use the 11 mm dovetail, or an additional 22 mm Weaver rail, to mount a scope.
Safety is ensured by an automatic safety. Comfortable shooting is further provided by an adjustable trigger.
