Optima air rifles are manufactured by Hatsan, a company that prides itself on producing affordable air guns. Evidence of this is one of the cheapest air rifles ever, named Zada.
At first glance, it impresses with its rough tactical appearance, further emphasized by the imitation of a bottom magazine and imitation of an adjustable cheek rest. The stock is also sturdy and features a rubber butt pad at its end. All metal parts are thoroughly protected by a strong polymer coating.
The 368mm long barrel is encased in plastic along its entire length and ends with an imitation of a noise suppressor. The barrel is equipped with height and windage adjustable sights with optical fibers, and for mounting optics, there is a plastic rail that supports both 11mm and 22mm mounts. Immediately behind the rail is the automatic safety.
Note: the muzzle energy and speed values provided by the manufacturer were achieved under ideal conditions. Actual values may vary.
The Optima air rifles are manufactured by the Turkish company Hatsan, but under a different name. All spare and tuning parts are identical for both brands. They differ only in the branding on the air rifle and the printing on the box.
