Its primary function is to accurately mimic the muzzle flash of real firearms by briefly illuminating the exiting gas with external orange LEDs when fired.
The second function is provided by the internal UV LEDs. When using Performance TRB series fluorescent ammunition, the balls are lit up as they pass through, providing a good overview of their trajectory during flight. This function is more suitable in low light conditions.
You can switch between the functions by holding down the button located by the M17x1 thread. You can therefore choose only the external LEDs, only the internal LEDs, or all LEDs at once.
The device is powered by an integrated battery that can be charged with the supplied USB-C cable.
The X-Tracer .50 model is compatible with the first and second generation revolver HDR50/TR50 ( requires purchase of the X-Tracer HDR/TR50 adapter or the X-Tender barrel attachment) and the first and second generation pistol HDP50/TP50 (requires purchase of the X-Tender HDP/TP50 adapter). Also compatible with the T4E CCK TR 50 conversion kit.
