Instead of a spring, however, it uses the Vortex system, a gas-charged piston. This makes it possible to eliminate recoil and noise that would otherwise be caused by the spring. The air rifle also achieves more stable performance.
Hatsan 95 Vortex shoots pellets in 5.5 mm calibre and is also equipped with the patented SAS system for recoil reduction. It is intended primarily for recreational shooting.
The 405 mm long barrel provides sufficient accuracy. The main safety feature is an automatic safety, which is easily accessible with the thumb of the shooting hand. An advantage of this model is the adjustable trigger mechanism Quattro, where you can easily adjust both the trigger travel and pull weight.
At first glance you will notice the wooden stock made of Turkish walnut. On it you will find the very popular Monte Carlo cheekpiece. Thanks to the stock ergonomics, the air rifle can be used by both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The stock is finished with a rubber butt pad that dampens recoil.
Hatsan 95 Vortex is also equipped with modern fibre-optic TruGlo sights with a fully adjustable rear sight. If you are considering mounting a riflescope, you will not have the slightest problem thanks to the 11 mm mounting rail.
