The world’s largest manufacturer of spring air rifles, the Spanish company GAMO, has come up with a truly unique product. It is a classic break‑barrel air rifle with a multi‑shot magazine. You have 10 shots immediately at hand, allowing you to shoot quickly and efficiently. You will also appreciate this feature when hunting small pests.
The Roadster eliminates the shortcomings of its predecessor, the Gamo Replay, and now has the magazine positioned horizontally. This allows the use of lower scope mounts and, most importantly, aiming via the iron sights. These are fibre‑optic, fine, and easy to read.
The air rifle is powered by the IGT system, that is, a piston with compressed inert gas. Thanks to this, it has less recoil than a classic spring and is also a bit quieter. Noise is further reduced by a moderator with Whisper Fusion technology.
Polymer stock is ambidextrous, making it suitable for both right‑ and left‑handed shooters. The stock is finished with a comfortable rubber buttpad that serves to reduce recoil. The trigger is fully adjustable in two stages and is made of plastic. The manual safety against accidental discharge is located in the trigger guard in front of the trigger. The receiver is equipped with an 11 mm dovetail rail for mounting a riflescope.
The barrel has a special polymer shroud that helps reduce noise. As already mentioned, the main advantage is the magazine mechanism, which is located in the front part of the receiver. When loading, make sure that the pellets are correctly inserted in the magazine and held firmly in place. Otherwise, the pellet skirt may become deformed, reducing shooting accuracy or even causing the mechanism to jam.
