The Swedish airguns FX DRS found their place in the world especially thanks to their unique design and - relatively for FX brand - low purchase price. However, now it's time for something a little bit more exclusive for hardcore shooting competition fanatics - the uncompromising FX DRS Pro in a premium MDT stock and with a number of performance enhancements.

MDT STOCK
The core element of the Pro model is definitely the CNC-machined aluminium stock from Canadian manufacturer MDT, which specialises in the production of stocks for sporting guns. This particular piece is a modified ACC Elite stock, originally designed for Remington 700 and Tikka T3X. It features an extended forearm with an Arca-Swiss rail and M-LOK slots stretching its entire length, an Premiere Gen 2 rear stock with height and length adjustable cheekpiece and a length adjustable buttpad.

The MDT Vertical Grip Elite offers tilt options to accommodate every shooter, and there are also adjustable metal Thumb Rests above the grip on both sides. The MDT Sporting Stock is designed to achieve maximum accuracy by eliminating any vibration and flex during firing, aided by the supplied brass plates - these serve specifically to fill in minor deviations in the construction. As the manufacturer says themselves, no stock is 100% identical regardless of being CNC machined.

The package also includes adhesive segments with a roughened surface on the forearm and areas for taking your finger off the trigger.
SLUG POWER KIT
Another upgrade over the classic DRS is the so-called Slug Power Kit, or a set of components consisting of a new pin pellet probe and a heavy tungsten hammer that allows for a longer valve opening and more air flow into the barrel. This hammer lets you shoot even the heaviest slug ammunition at full power.
Also included is an angled pressure gauge for installation on the side of the power plenum so you can always keep an eye on the current pressure in both the cartridge and on the regulator.
MATCH-GRADE TRIGGER MECHANISM
The DRS Pro also features a redesigned 2-stage trigger mechanism adapted for shooting competitions that require the lowest possible trigger weight and a 100% consistent break point when fired. This is where the fully adjustable match-grade trigger comes into play.
30 MOA PICATINNY RAIL
The final feature that separates the DRS Pro from the DRS Classic is the extended Picatinny rail canted by 30 MOA. This incline simplifies adjusting the riflescope for extreme distance shooting, while also giving you more room to mount larger optics. The rail can be removed to reveal a classic 11mm rail.

EVERYTHING ELSE STAYS THE SAME
All other components remain unchanged, such as the Superior Heavy Smooth Twist X barrel - the barrel rifling is pressed from the outside. This results in an exceptionally smooth internal surface, minimizing the friction when shot. The cartridge routed around the barrel also serves as a shroud that reinforces the entire air rifle and reduces oscillations during firing. The outer diameter of the shroud is 34mm. The barrel muzzle is equipped with a standard 1/2UNF thread for the eventual installation of a sound moderator.
The SHP power plenum sticks out from the bottom, resembling a classic firearm magazine. The real magazine, however, is inserted into the slot in the middle of the scope rail, and can hold projectiles up to 11.3mm (0.45") long. The adjustment components of the AMP MkII regulator and the hammer spring have been relocated beneath the stock, which needs to be disassembled first in case you want to adjust anything. The cocking lever is placed on the right side, as well as the lever-operated manual safety. On the left side there is a pressure gauge indicating the current pressure in the cartridge.
The Pro MDT comes in a durable plastic case with a precision cut-out for the air rifle with an installed scope.
NOTE: With this air rifle, it is important to pay attention to the remaining pressure in the cartridge. We recommend maintaining a pressure of (approximately) at least 150 bar. If the pressure drops below the regulator settings, it may result in the air rifle depressurizing entirely.
