How Do Cleaning Pellets Work?

The entire process can be described in three simple steps. First of all, you are going to have to douse the felt pellet in a cleaning oil and then simply insert it into the chamber and shoot it out. That is all. You can use a regular lead pellet if you want but it’s not necessary.

Felt cleaning pellets are usually sold in packages containing 100 pieces. You may wonder how often to use them? That really depends. Some shooters do it each time they use their airguns and some after firing 1000 pellets. Both ways are quite viable and always remember that it is never a bad idea to clean your weapon.
