Let us present the brand new member of the family of PCP airguns from Czech manufacturer AirMaks Arms. Just like its predecessors, this model had also borrowed its name from the animal kingdom – this time it’s named after a highly venomous snake belonging to the cobra family.
AirMaks Krait X is the longest variant of the product series and comes with an extended barrel and larger air bottle. It still manages to retain its compact size and low weight. The overall length of the weapon reaches 885 mm and it weighs just about 3,1 kg.
The shrouded barrel with the 1/17,7 twist rate has a length of 700 mm and its muzzle is outfitted with the 1/2x20 UNF thread for an external sound moderator. This barrel makes this rifle an excellent choice for long range shooting, especially with slugs.
Symmetrical wooden stock features a height adjustable cheekpiece and a rubber buttpad that can be adjusted for both length and height. Its excellent ergonomic properties are further extended by the anatomically shaped pistol grip.
The cocking lever has a very smooth action and you can easily attach it to the other side. The magazine has a capacity of sixteen .22 caliber (5,5 mm) pellets and all models in this caliber are also outfitted with an anti-double feed system.
The two-stage trigger is fully adjustable and the manual safety is placed directly above it. The safety can also be swapped to the other side.
The Kevlar cartridge with a capacity of 300 cc and a filling pressure of 300 Bar is complemented by a Power Plenum with a capacity of 60 cc. Compared to the traditional version, the Lite version does not offer external regulator adjustment, but only the possibility of tuning the drum level.
The 20 MOA Picatinny rail will allow you to mount a scope and lower picatinny rail for other tactical accessories can be found under the air bottle.
