Introducing a brand new addition to the family of PCP air rifles from the Czech manufacturer AirMaks Arms. Just like its predecessors, this model has borrowed its name from the animal kingdom – this time it bears the name of a highly venomous snake from the cobra family.
AirMaks Krait L differs from the standard version by its extended barrel and larger air cylinder. However, it still keeps very compact dimensions and a relatively pleasant weight. The overall length of the rifle does not exceed 705 mm and its weight is 2.8 kg.
Shrouded barrel with a 1/17 twist rate is 520 mm long and at the muzzle you will find a 1/2x20 UNF thread for mounting an external sound moderator.
The symmetrical wooden stock is equipped with a height-adjustable cheekpiece and a rubber buttpad, for which you can adjust both length and height. Excellent ergonomic features are further enhanced by an anatomically shaped pistol grip.
The sidelever has a very smooth operation and can easily be switched to the other side if needed. The magazine can hold 16 pellets in .22 calibre (5.5 mm).
Two-stage trigger is fully adjustable and directly above it there is a manual safety, which can also be moved to the other side.
The Kevlar air cylinder with a capacity of 480 cc and a filling pressure of 300 Bar is complemented by a Power Plenum with a capacity of 60 cc. Compared to the traditional version, the Lite version does not offer external regulator adjustment, but only the option of fine-tuning the hammer.
Picatinny rail with 20 MOA incline allows for scope mounting, and a lower accessory rail of the same standard can be found under the air cylinder. This allows you to attach additional tactical accessories.
