The classic break-barrel air rifle BSA V-Scout is made for recreational shooting in the garden. As soon as you pick it up, its low weight is immediately noticeable. Shooting itself is pleasant and you can hardly feel any recoil, which is not surprising given that the power of the air rifle does not exceed 5 J. Thanks to the light spring resistance and compact dimensions, it is an ideal air rifle for juniors.
The wooden stock is based on simplicity, so you will not find a traditional butt pad at its end. This does not change the fact that the stock is carefully crafted and represents a splendid element of the whole design. As is customary, the grip area is textured so that your fingers do not slip on it.
The two-stage trigger with a polymer blade is protected by a trigger guard and can be secured with a lever safety. A very pleasant surprise is the high-quality fibre optic sights with a three-dot system – green rear sight and red front sight. The tunnel front sight is fixed in place, but the rear sight can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally.
If you have higher ambitions, you can use the 11 mm dovetail located just behind the rear sight to mount a riflescope.
