BSA (Birmingham Small Arms Company) was founded in 1861 and since then has become one of the most influential industrial companies in the United Kingdom.
BSA has played a key role in both world wars, supplying ammunition in the first one and producing over half of all the small arms of the British Armed Forces during WW2. That included half a million Browning machine guns, that were the main armaments of the Spitfire and Hurricane fighter planes. The BSA factories became the target of several air raids but Germans haven’t managed to completely destroy them.
It is important to remember the company’s legacy when buying one of its airguns. The tradition and decades of experience give BSA airguns a quality that can’t just be found anywhere else.
Check out the BSA Buccaneer PCP air rifle that offers an excellent fit and finish and an undeniable quality. These qualities can also be found in the R10 rifle which comes with a beautiful walnut stock.
