The German manufacturer Weihrauch started production back in 1899 and ranks among the very top in its field. Their air rifles are used for sporting disciplines such as Field Target and others. With these spring-piston rifles it is possible to achieve the same results at a distance of 50 metres as with much more expensive PCP models.
Weihrauch HW 77 is an innovation of the HW 97 model. The air rifle has received a longer barrel and iron sights. The fixed barrel, thanks to the underlever cocking system, guarantees long-lasting accuracy. After breaking the underlever, the chamber opens for inserting a pellet into the barrel. The safety is automatic, so you have to disengage it before each shot. It is located at the rear of the action. The stock is ambidextrous, thus suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The wooden stock has decorative checkering on the grip and forend. At the end of the stock there is a rubber butt pad that absorbs recoil.
This model is equipped with classic iron sights. However, you can also use a riflescope for more precise target shooting, which can be mounted on the 11 mm dovetail rail.
The main advantage is the Rekord match trigger, which can be adjusted very precisely.
Our experience: The best choice for sport shooters who missed having iron sights on the previous model.
