The internal mechanism is powered by a classic CO2 bomb. The bomb, like the magazine, is inserted into the pistol grip. The trigger mechanism operates in Double Action mode, meaning that the hammer does not have to be cocked before the first shot. The magazine is designed to hold 21 steel BB pellets.
