PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
As it is usual with Hikmicro products, the RAPTOR RQ50L binoculars offer only the finest and highest quality hardware and software. Its most important strength is the combination of thermal imaging, laser rangefinder, regular color day and night vision with IR illumination.
The thermal imaging module with a 50mm lens, 20µm 640x512px core with thermal sensitivity NETD <20mK (the smaller the value, the more sensitive), 16x digital and 3.4x optical zoom allows you to use it even in harsh weather conditions such as rain, fog or snow and can detect a 1.7m tall object at a stunning distance of up to 2600m.
The 2560x1440px resolution optical module provides both normal colour day mode and night vision with 850nm infrared illumination. Clear image even in fog is ensured by the Defog function, which automatically adjusts the image quality in low visibility areas.
With the 905nm laser rangefinder, you can measure the target distance of up to 1000m with a high accuracy of ±1m.
The binoculars feature a 0.39" OLED display with a high resolution of 1024x768px, two eyepieces adjustable from 60 to 70mm with diopter correction of -5D to +3D, and a 1/4"-20-UNC threaded tripod mount. The device has a water resistance rating of IP67.
In total, the device offers 6 different image modes, such as White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Optical, and also an Image Fusion mode which combines thermal and optical images to achieve a high quality thermal image with the addition of details that thermal imaging alone cannot capture.
The Picture-in-picture feature is of course also included, allowing you to zoom in on your target while maintaining the overall field of view. It is also worth to mention the GPS and DMC (Digital Magnetic Compass) functions, thanks to which you will always know where you have taken the footage. All images and recordings stored on the built-in 64GB storage can be browsed in the local album, or you can access them via the Hikmicro Sight mobile app, to which you can stream the recordings in real time.
The device is powered by 3 replaceable 18650 batteries, which allow the binoculars to operate continuously for up to 8 hours. Power saving is further enhanced by the Smart IR function, which automatically adjusts the illumination intensity according to the surrounding environment, and the automatic display shutdown when the device is kept away from the eyes.
