Taipan Veteran is the perfect example of the compact PCP air rifle. It originally comes from Ukraine and all airguns are now assembled in the Czech Republic. Their excellent fit and finish is assured thanks to the high-tech CNC machining. The stocks are made from wood and metal parts of aircraft-grade aluminium and high-quality steel.
The Long version is outfitted with a 550 mm barrel which makes it a perfect choice for long range target shooting. Taipan airguns are outfitted with CZ or Lothar Walther barrels. The effective sound moderator is attached to the 1/2 UNF thread on the muzzle. Shooting is therefore surprisingly silent.
The air cylinder has a capacity of 355 cc and comes with the Wika pressure gauge. You can mount a scope to the 20 MOA 22 mm Weaver rail.
The side lever has a smooth action and you can also be mounted to the other side. The rifle also comes with a system that prevents double feeds.
The trigger mechanism is fully adjustable and one of the best we have ever tried. The manual safety is located in front of the trigger.
Taipan Veteran Long has an overall weight of 3550 g and comes with two 10-shot magazines, single-shot tray and a Quick-Fill adapter.
