Its big advantage is that it comes with multi-shot magazines, so you don’t have to load a pellet after each shot. If you want to enjoy truly precise target shooting, you can also use the single-shot tray, which is included in the package. Replacing the magazine with the single-shot tray and vice versa is very easy. You simply slide this part out to the side, as it is held in the correct position only by a magnet.
The rifle has a beautiful beech stock, which is checkered at the grip area for a more stable hold. Despite this, this air rifle has an incredibly low weight of only 2270 g. Thanks to this, it is also suitable for children and juniors. At the end of the stock there is a rubber anti-vibration butt pad that increases shooting comfort.
PR900W is also equipped with classic open sights, which is suitable for learning how to shoot. If you no longer need them, they can be easily removed and replaced with a riflescope. The riflescope is mounted on an 11 mm rail, which is part of this air rifle.
Of course, it has a manual safety, which is located on the trigger guard and is therefore easy to operate. Since it is not automatic, we can engage or disengage it permanently at any time.
This air rifle belongs to the category of pre-charged pneumatic guns. Compared to CO2-powered models, its advantage is higher consistency even at lower temperatures. You will also appreciate that you do not need to buy CO2 cartridges. The maximum filling pressure is 200 bar. Filling is done using a quickfill adapter, which is included in the package. Since the adapter is not threaded, you still need to purchase a quick coupler.
Our experience: We really recommend this rifle to everyone, either in this CO2 version or PCP. It is an absolutely trouble-free air rifle with which both adults and children will have a lot of fun. An advantage is the possibility of both multi-shot and single-shot shooting. We also appreciated the mechanical sights and the option to add a riflescope. Overall, there is nothing to criticize about this gun. It is compact, lightweight and perfectly manageable. In 4.5 mm calibre it is suitable for precise target shooting, and in 5.5 mm calibre for destructive shooting and shooting at cans.
