SPA brings to market an affordable PCP air rifle with the popular bullpup concept. The M40 is set in a lightweight beech stock with a comfortable pistol grip and a pleasant rubber butt pad. In the spacious trigger guard there is a simple metal trigger, which has a truly minimalist safety integrated into it.
A prominent feature is the 22mm Weaver rail running along the entire length of the barrel. It offers very easy mounting of any optic.
The air cylinder volume is 260 cm3. The maximum operating pressure is 250 bar and can be easily read on the manometer at the front of the cylinder. The filling port is located there as well. To connect the filling pin (quickfill) to a bottle or pump, it is necessary to purchase a quick coupler separately, as with other PCP rifles from SPA. A built‑in pressure regulator ensures good shot consistency.
The side lever is located on the right side and its smooth operation requires a bit of practice, as you always need to disengage a special safety. The magazine holds a total of 10 pellets in calibre 5.5 mm.
Attention! At a muzzle energy of 16 J the air rifle works only as a repeater. It operates in semi‑automatic mode only at full power.
