The pistol is powered by a coil spring, which must be compressed by folding the barrel downwards. Insert a single lead pellet into it, fold it back up and you're ready to fire. The barrel is rifled, therefore it can even handle target shooting at a distance of 10-15 meters. It features height and side adjustable sights, or you can attach a red dot sight to the classic 11mm dovetail rail.
All important components are of course made of metal and the protective frame is plastic. For a more reliable grip, the manufacturer added a hardened rubber grip. To prevent accidental discharge, there is a manual safety located right inside the trigger blade.
Our opinion: The SP500 is very compact and fits the hand perfectly. Right from the first touch, it feels pretty good quality, nothing wobbles (not even the spring compression lever) and the plastic parts don't creak. This piece simply doesn't have any rivals in its price range. Plus, you don't need to buy any additional accessories - all you need is the pistol and lead pellets.
