The solid steel ball guarantees maximum stopping power and, compared to lighter rubber or plastic rounds, retains a much higher velocity during flight and when impacting thick clothing, thus providing higher impact energy. The total weight of one projectile is 9.6 grams.
The plastic casing protects the barrel from abrasion and also increases the stability during flight, contributing to greater accuracy.
Due to the overall shape, this ammunition is only suitable for the Umarex T4E TR / HDR 68 revolver and the Umarex T4E TS / HDS 68 double-barrel shotgun. If used in other weapons with a spring-loaded magazine, it will result in jamming (the exception is the Umarex TB / HDB 68 shotgun, into which the ammunition can be inserted through the side port, one piece at a time before each shot).
