The German manufacturer Weihrauch started production in 1899 and is one of the top manufacturers in its field. Its airguns are popularly used in a wide range of sporting disciplines, such as Field Target.
The HW 90 is the first German-made model to use a nitro piston instead of a conventional spring, which brings the advantages of less recoil and lower noise. After cocking, the barrel is automatically locked by a safety catch. The wooden stock has ornamental engraving on the grip and forend and is adapted for right-handed shooters. There is a rubber buttpad at the end of the stock which increases comfort by cushioning the recoil acting on the shoulder.
Precise aiming is made possible by the classic fixed sights, which can be replaced by a rifle scope if necessary, thanks to the presence of an 11mm mounting Dovetail rail.
The main advantage is the Rekord sport trigger, which is fully adjustable, giving great possibilities of customization for every kind of shooting.
