The second generation of the popular bullpup from the Czech lands has received a modern tactical configuration. Originally Russian Kalibrgun closely follows modern trends and customer wishes, on the basis of which it has created something truly extraordinary. The Cricket II Tactical design is really impressive – you will either fall in love with it immediately, or you will never want to see it again.
One of the most important parts is the precise 600mm barrel with an integrated sound moderator. There is a 1/2 UNF thread at its muzzle. The air cylinder is built for an operating pressure of up to 300 bar and holds a pleasant 500 cm3 of air. Right behind the cylinder there is a clear manometer on the right side and a filling port on the left side.
The air rifle is equipped with a pressure regulator as standard. This guarantees constant power and muzzle velocity for all shots. Consistent shooting is something Kalibrgun strongly focuses on. A big step forward is the reduced resistance of the cocking lever, so cycling is much more comfortable and faster.
Unfortunately, ergonomics are not the strongest aspect of this air rifle. Shouldering without a cheekpiece is somewhat uncomfortable and the absence of a forearm does not help a secure grip either. This can be solved, for example, with a tactical grip – a weaver rail is provided for mounting, which is also ideal for mounting a bipod. However, the minimalist wooden stock gains extra points for its pleasant rubber butt pad and an integrated holder for two magazines.
For optics you can use the integrated 22mm weaver rail. The manual safety is located above the trigger guard. With an air rifle of this quality, a fully adjustable trigger is a matter of course. A new feature is the loaded chamber indicator showing that the gun is loaded.
