Hatsan SpeedFire Vortex is a break‑barrel air rifle in 4.5 mm calibre. Unlike classic spring‑piston air rifles, it uses the Vortex system, i.e. a gas‑pressurised piston. This has made it possible to eliminate recoil and noise that would otherwise be caused by the spring. The air rifle also delivers more stable performance.
The polymer stock with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece guarantees a comfortable grip. The stock is additionally finished with a rubber buttpad that helps absorb recoil. Set into the polymer body is a 370 mm rifled barrel, with an integrated sound moderator at the muzzle. Combined with the Vortex system, the rifle is therefore very quiet.
At the end of the barrel there is a raised folding front sight, paired with a raised rear sight. The sights are fiber‑optic, so you can shoot comfortably even in low‑light conditions. If you want truly precise shooting, you can also mount a scope on the 11 mm and 22 mm raised mounting rail.
The greatest advantage of this rifle is hidden under the rear sight: an automated 12‑shot magazine. All you need to do is load the magazine and break the barrel to cock and load the piston. When you break the barrel, the pellet is loaded directly into the barrel. You no longer need to fumble around looking for a pellet.
Comfortable shooting is ensured by the Quattro Trigger trigger mechanism, which allows you to adjust the trigger pull. Hatsan has also considered safety and equipped the rifle with an automatic safety, which must be disengaged before each shot.
