The operating pressure in a PCP air rifle cartridge often reaches a dizzying
300 bar. It’s clear that a regular bicycle pump is not enough for this.
A special pump for PCP rifles can handle it, but be prepared for quite a bit of
pumping. Venox pumps are attractive in terms of price, but those looking for a
time‑tested brand will go for the English Hill pumps.
Pump for PCP air rifles from SPA. Maximum working pressure is 450 BAR. The pump is equipped with a pressure gauge. A quick coupler is also included in the package.
Warning: Never shoot the air rifle down to 0 BAR pressure. The hand pump is not able to overcome the initial overpressure, so the first filling of an empty cylinder must be done from a pressure bottle!
