The Gamo PT-85 air pistol is inspired by contemporary military pistols. Its internal mechanism is powered by a single 12g CO2 cartridge placed directly inside the grip. Up to 60 shots can be fired per cartridge with a muzzle velocity of 140 m/s.
The pistol's construction is made of a combination of metal and polymer, which is an ideal compromise between durability and light weight. All important components are made of metal: trigger, safety, hammer, barrel and the entire internal mechanism. In contrast, the body of the gun is made of polymer.
Due to the presence of a rifled barrel and wreath magazines, classic diabolo pellets are recommended as the optimal ammunition. The magazine consists of an elongated plastic sleeve, at both ends of which there are two wreaths with a total capacity of 16 diabolos. After emptying, the magazine must be ejected, rotated and reinserted with the full wreath facing the chamber.
The double-action trigger mechanism allows the cocking mechanism to be cocked by pulling the trigger, but you can also pull the mechanism beforehand. Cocking the hammer is done only before the first shot is fired, after which it is cocked by the bolt itself. The trigger is secured by a manual safety lock located in the rear right part.
There are fixed sights on the top with a three-point system consisting of three white dots. A bottom picatinny rail is provided for expanding the pistol with additional accessories. The handling is ensured ith a rugged grip. Ribbing on both sides of the slide fulfill the same purpose.
The special set includes targets (100 pcs) and a canvas case.
