New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The Swedish company FX Airguns introduces the fourth generation of one of the most successful PCP air rifles called Impact M4. And it is not just an ordinary upgrade - they have overhauled almost all external and internal components. Nevertheless, it still retains the distinctive style of the Impact series.
The top plate which keeps everything together has been reinforced to make the airgun more rigid as a whole, and it now features a concealed 11mm dovetail rail. As a result, you can slide the 22mm Picatinny mounting rail back and forth, giving you more flexibility in installing the riflescope. The adjustable slide rail is canted by 30MOA, which makes adjusting the riflescope for long range shooting much easier.
Radical changes have also been implemented to the entire trigger mechanism. The Impact M4 features a so-called "Quick Set Trigger" - a trigger that can be easily adapted to any purpose. Whether you plan to go hunting with a heavy trigger or a shooting competition that requires the maximum sensitivity, the airgun can be adjusted with a single screw in a matter of seconds.
The AMP MkII externally adjustable brass piston pressure regulator has been upgraded as well, making it much more durable, more responsive, providing an even more consistent muzzle velocity, and it can even handle a maximum regulated pressure of up to 170 bar.
In addition, the high capacity magazine is now made of Polyoxymethylene (POM) and its new internal mechanism ensures smooth rotation even filled with the heaviest ammunition available. The AR-15-type grip is more robust and features roughened segments for a better shooting comfort.
Everything else stays intact. The shrouded barrel with a rifling pressed from the exterior is as perfectly accurate as ever, you get a 1/2 "UNF threaded sound moderator, the carbon fiber cartridge can be filled up to 250 bar, you will find two WIKA pressure gauges on the air rifle (one for the cartridge pressure, the other for the regulator), there are 3 Picatinny rails on the sides and under the barrel, the hammer spring tension can be adjusted with the micro and macro Quick Tune System dials, there is a 75cc power plenum after the regulator, the cocking lever can be flipped to the other side by removing only two screws, the safety is located on the right side, the buttpad is adjustable in height and the cartridge can be filled with a standard Foster quick coupler with 1/8" BSP thread.
