Fishing knife

Whether it’s pike, carp or salmon, a fillet knife is the most important tool for preparing fish. You can recognize it from other knives at first glance. It has a thinner and narrower blade and is quite flexible. Thanks to the properties of the blade, you get the best cuts from every fish and can easily remove the backbone and skin.

Morakniv knives

Fish belong to Nordic cuisine just as roast beef with cream sauce does to ours. That’s why fish fillet knives from Morakniv have been proven over centuries. Thanks to Sandvik steel, the edge is exceptionally sharp and will withstand almost anything. The knives feature a characteristic polymer handle that doesn’t slip from your hand, even when wet.

Fillet knives are increasingly being made also for other types of meat than fish. They have a wider blade and are used for portioning fresh and frozen meat, from poultry to beef or pork.
