South Korean company Evanix introduces an upgraded version of the popular REX single-shot PCP air rifle. The IBEX stands apart from its predecessor with its longer barrel, tactical handguard and a carbon fiber bottle.
The ergonomically shaped pistol grip makes handling this airgun really easy. The cocking mechanism resembles traditional lever action rifles. All you need to do is to move the trigger guard either half way forward (medium power) or all the way forward (full power). You can then insert a pellet into the chamber and return the trigger guard back to its original position.
Evanix Rex-IBEX is designed for long range shooting and that is why it features a 730 mm unchoked barrel with a 1:19 twist rate. The barrel is shrouded and the muzzle is outfitted with the inner M22 thread to which you can mount the included muzzle brake.
This model is a single-shot rifle and you can use a wide range of different pellets or slugs. The two-stage trigger is adjustable and the manual safety is placed right above it, on the right side of the rifle.
The tactical AR-style handguard features M-LOK slots on its sides and two Picatinny rails on top and bottom for all sorts of accessories.
The carbon fiber bottle acts as a buttstock and has a capacity of 480 cc. A maximum fill pressure is 250 bar. You can check the current pressure on the pressure gauge on the top of the valve.
