High-performance rifle with large air capacity. Black Leopard is based on the now well-known Evanix Rainstorm SL-SHB rifles, but is equipped with an additional air cylinder instead of a cheekpiece. The front cylinder holds 260 cc of air and the rear another 480 cc. As the name Black Leopard already suggests, the rifle is set in a black polymer stock in Thumbhole design.
The rifle has a pistol grip, and the grip area features checkering. The buttpad of the Leopard is adjustable in the vertical direction.
The rifle is supplied with the new magazines developed by Evanix for all its rifles. The magazines are always pre-wound when inserting pellets, so there is no need for a mechanism to rotate the magazines. A similar system is used by Daystate...
This air rifle is equipped with a magazine for 10 pellets, so you don’t have to bother with reloading after every single shot. The trigger is adjustable sideways and the trigger pull is also adjustable. Evanix firearms are characterised by beautiful and precise workmanship and high reliability.
Checking the pressure in the bottle is a bit different from rifles we are used to, so don’t look for the pressure gauge on the underside of the rifle, but at the rear of the rifle near the cheekpiece.
Practical experience: A very interesting rifle for shooters who require plenty of consistent shots per fill. Black Leopard fits the hand well thanks to the pistol grip. The rifle is a bit heavier, but this is compensated by the large air reservoir.
