These superior Czech-made air rifles called EPIC TWO are already famous all over the world thanks to their high performance, perfect accuracy and unlimited modularity. However, some may not find the original aluminium stock appealing, which is why the engineers at EPIC AIRGUNS came up with an elegant walnut stock variant.
And it's not just an ordinary stock - it is manufactured by the acclaimed Czech company KLINSKY, which has perfected it down to the smallest detail. The choice of wood has a distinctive texture and each air rifle is therefore in a way unique. To mount a bipod or tripod, it features a UIT Anschütz bottom rail. The forearm and grip segments are textured and the stock has another hidden asset - the height-adjustable symmetrical cheekpiece and the height, length and side-adjustable rubber buttpad. Those can be adjusted with a single H4 Allen key. Compared to the original with aluminium stock and Arca-Swiss mounting platform, the Walnut version attains an impressively low weight, which will be appreciated especially by hunters on long trails.
All other components remain intact. The non-choked CZUB barrel with 12 grooves and 17.7" twist rate is outfitted with a carbon shroud, which also doubles as the barrel pretensioner (harmonic tuning). The muzzle end features a reduction to 1/2UNF thread for installation of any sound moderator. By removing the reducer you will expose the M27x1 thread, onto which you can mount the original Epic Airguns moderator or muzzle brake.
With the barrel kit you can easily convert the barrel length and the complete airgun caliber. The set includes everything necessary (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF adapter, 1/2UNF thread cover, transfer port and pellet probe).
For best results with heavy pellets and slugs, there is also a barrel kit with a non-choked Lothar Walther polygonal barrel (6 grooves with 17.7" twist rate).
EPIC TWO air rifles feature an adjustable balanced valve, which ensures maximum performance at minimum hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the charging lever. At the same time, it reduces wasted air, increasing the number of shots per fill. The hammer spring tension can be adjusted externally via a screw located right behind the cocking lever.
The cartridge can be filled to a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) using the supplied 1/8" diameter filling pin compatible with standard quick couplers. The air rifle is fitted with 2 pressure gauges. The first one indicates the current pressure in the cartridge, the second one indicates the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator.
Riflescope can be mounted onto the standard 22mm Picatinny rail canted by 30 MOA, helping to adjust the scope for shooting at the greatest distances. And of course there is a fully adjustable trigger and comfortably positioned manual safety on the right side.
DESIGN VARIATIONS
EPIC TWO Walnut air rifles are available in the following design options:
Already own an EPIC TWO air rifle? You can also purchase the walnut stock separately for both, standard aluminium cartridge and carbon bottle versions.
NOTE - The EPIC ONE series offers multiple adjustment options of both internal and external components and some modifications require extensive knowledge of PCP type airguns. Please always follow the instructions in the user manual, otherwise you risk causing irreversible damage to the airgun components and voiding the warranty.
