Introducing EPIC ONE - a new flagship of the world-renowned company EPIC AIRGUNS based in the Czech Republic. The EPIC team has harnessed all the experience acquired during the production of the successful model TWO and refined it into its compact bullpup descendant. The excellent processing quality is present on all levels - for instance, the main monoblock of the airgun is constructed from a single piece of metal on a 5-axis CNC machine.
This bullpup boasts a new adjustable HIGH-POWER balanced valve, which ensures maximum performance at minimum hammer spring tension, making it easier to cock the charging lever. At the same time, it reduces wasted air, increasing the number of shots per fill. The hammer spring tension can be adjusted externally via a screw located above the buttpad.
The cartridge can be filled to a maximum working pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) using the supplied 1/8" diameter filling pin compatible with standard quick couplers. The air rifle is fitted with 2 pressure gauges. The first one indicates the current pressure in the cartridge, the second one indicates the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator - which can be adjusted from 50 to 190 bar using the supplied key ( please always follow the instructions in the manual).
To achieve even more consistent muzzle velocity, the regulator is accompanied by a bulky power plenum (63cc for the 420mm barrel version and 95cc for the 550mm and 700mm barrel versions).
The EPIC ONE airguns come assembled with a CZUB barrel with 12 grooves and 17.7" twist rate. The muzzle is equipped with a 1/2UNF thread for mounting a sound moderator. The carbon shroud serves to reinforce the barrel and also allows for barrel pre-tensioning (harmonic tuning).
Air rifles with 420mm and 550mm barrel length also feature an integrated K-Baffle type sound moderator, also tipped with 1/2UNF thread.
The 700mm barrel version is also compatible with the original EPIC AIRGUNS sound moderator or muzzle brake by removing the 1/2UNF threaded segment and exposing the M27x1 thread.
With the barrel kit you can easily convert the barrel length and the complete airgun caliber. The set includes everything necessary (barrel, carbon shroud with M27x1 thread, 1/2UNF adapter, 1/2UNF thread cover, transfer port and pellet probe).
For best results with heavy pellets and slugs, there is also a barrel kit with a non-choked Lothar Walther polygonal barrel (6 grooves with 17.7" twist rate).
The ONE series features a new pre-loaded magazine with a magnetic cap. To load it, all you have to do is rotate the inner wheel and insert the first pellet, which locks the rotary action. Thanks to its small size, the magazine does not harm the overall look of the air rifle and does not interfere with the operation. Moreover, it accepts projectiles up to 14mm long.
Thanks to the ingenious bullpup design, the ONE is extremely compact and perfectly balanced. To ensure the most comfortable shooting experience, the stock features a length-adjustable buttpad with rugged contact surface and QD shoulder strap slot. The Bag Rider shown in the photos is not included.
The rubberized cheekpiece can be moved freely along the 11mm dovetail rail stretching across the entire main block of the rifle. The same goes for the raised Picatinny rail, which is canted by up to 30 MOA, allowing for easier riflescope alignment for shooting at the greatest distances.
You can also install the optional Top Rail EPIC ONE - a tuning Picatinny rail with a number of M-LOK slots on each side or the Arca-Swiss mounting platform for the 580cc and 300cc carbon bottle models.
Accessories can be mounted on the two short Anschütz UIT rails on the sides of the barrel or a series of M-LOK slots located between the buttpad and the AR-15 standard grip.
The trigger mechanism has been perfected to the finest detail. Using a few screws, you can adjust the trigger weight, the travel of the first and second stage and the height and yaw angle of the trigger blade. The reliable lever safety is located right in front of the trigger, so you won't ever have to take your eyes off the target. As usual with EPIC airguns, the charging lever with an extremely smooth action is also easily swappable from one side to the other.
The EPIC ONE is available in three design options:
NOTE - The EPIC ONE series offers multiple adjustment options of both internal and external components and some modifications require extensive knowledge of PCP type airguns. Please always follow the instructions in the user manual, otherwise you risk causing irreversible damage to the airgun components and voiding the warranty.
