The Crosman Triple Threat takes the design of a classic revolver and turns it into an airgun. It is powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge that provides enough power for 55-60 shots. The cartridge is inserted directly into the handle and maintains pressure in the system. The gas is released from the mechanism by the impact of the hammer on the valve, then goes through the barel and propels the ammo.
Keep in mind, however, that this is CO2 - in temperatures below 10 °C, performance drops extremely. Cartridges are disposable so should be emptied immediately, failing to do so will put the gun under a unwanted pressure and may damage its seals.
The revolver is capable of firing both pellets and BBs in .177 caliber (4,5 mm) and offers Single Action and Double Action modes. In front of the hammer, you will find a safety that can be pressed from both sides to prevent accidental discharges.
The easily interchangeable rifled barrels in lengths of 3" (7.6 cm), 6" (15.2 cm), 8" (20.3 cm) and two types of magazines are included. The first mag is for pellets and holds ten rounds, the second is for BBs and has six slots. The magazines are also easily interchangeable, so you can change ammunition without any problems. The average muzzle velocity for pellet is 137 m/s, while the average velocity for BB is 129.5 m/s. The gun is fitted with a fully adjustable sight for improved shooting accuracy and a comfortable grip is guaranteed by the anatomically shaped handle made of durable plastic. The revolver achieves 3.3, J energy and is suitable for target practice or plinking with or without friends.
