Crosman Triple Threat brings the classic revolver design into the form of an airgun. It is powered by a CO2 cartridge, which provides enough power for 55–60 shots. The cartridge is inserted directly into the grip and maintains pressure in the system, which then propels the ammunition through the barrel. The gas is released from the mechanism when the hammer strikes the valve.
However, keep in mind that this is CO2 – at temperatures below 10 °C the performance drops dramatically. The cartridges are single-use, so they should be emptied immediately; if you do not do so, you subject the gun to unnecessary stress.
The revolver can shoot both pellets and 4.5 mm steel BBs and offers single action and double action firing modes. In front of the hammer you will find a safety that can be pressed from both sides to prevent an accidental discharge.
The package includes easily replaceable rifled barrels with lengths – 3” (7.6 cm), 6” (15.2 cm), 8” (20.3) cm – and two types of magazines. The first is for pellets and holds ten rounds, the second is designed for steel BBs and has six slots. The magazines can also be easily swapped, allowing you to smoothly change ammunition and thus the characteristics of the shot. The average muzzle velocity for pellets is 137 m/s, for steel BBs it is 129.5 m/s. The gun is equipped with a fully adjustable rear sight to improve shooting accuracy; a comfortable grip is ensured by the ergonomically shaped pistol grip made of durable polymer. The revolver reaches an energy of 3.3 J and is suitable for training or fun with friends or on your own.

A classic Crosman 357 made for many years, this one with a barrel swap option.
The revolver body construction is metal with plastic stocks, the interchangeable
barrels are plastic with an inserted steel rifled „tube“. The magazines
consist of two plastic „wreaths“, the first for ten pellets, the second for
six steel shot. The muzzle velocity with a conventional 0.5g pellet is roughly
in the range of 100 to 130 m/s depending on the barrel length. I do not
recommend shooting with steel shot because of the gradual destruction of the
barrel rifling. With pellets it is a fairly accurate revolver suitable for
target shooting. The disadvantage is that you have to readjust the sights after
each barrel change, each barrel shoots a little differently. In addition, the
eight-inch barrel is harder to rotate the „wreath“ (due to the thicker
central mandrel) and the chamber is not completely coaxial with the barrel
(I have two revolvers, both of which are exactly the same). The trigger of the
revolver works in double action mode. Despite the minor imperfections, this
revolver definitely deserves a recommendation for those looking for a simple,
fun and accurate gun with a time-tested design.
