Celebrating 100 years of its existence, the American manufacturer Crosman has created a limited edition of one of the most popular PCA airguns Crosman Legacy 1000.
This model, titled Crosman Legacy 100 YEAR EDITION, stands out with its polymer stock with golden elements around the stock, grip and the main block. Obviously, it's not real gold.
Like other PCA airguns (Pre Charged Air), it has to be pressurized via the integrated pump in the forearm. Depending on the number of compressions (the manufacturer recommends 3 to 12 compressions), the muzzle energy increases up to 10 Joules.
This model allows you to shoot both steel BBs and lead pellets. Steel BBs are fed into a 200 shot reservoir through a cleverly hidden hole under the grip cover. Then, simply slide back and secure the pin on the left side of the block, lower the barrel perpendicular to the ground, shake/twist the airgun along its axis, release the pin, cock the charging lever on the right side, and 18 BBs are ready to go.
Lead pellets are loaded one at a time before each shot. Simply pull the right side charging lever, insert the pellet and return the lever to its original position. Although you get a lower rate of fire with lead pellets, they offer much higher accuracy, especially in combination with the rifled steel barrel.
The low weight and textured segments in the grip areas contribute to the overall comfort, and the manual safety in the trigger guard area is a matter of course. The air rifle is equipped with a height and side adjustable metal rear sight and a front sight fitted with a light guiding optical fiber. There is also a classic 11mm rail for the eventual installation of a rifle scope.
In addition, the package contains a stylish 100 Year anniversary case with 250 Crosman Super Point lead pellets.
