The Crosman C362 air rifle is classified as a PCA air rifle, or air rifle with an integrated pump. The main advantage of this principle of operation is that you do not have to deal with a source of compressed air, whether in the form of a diving bottle or a pump. Other advantages are certainly the high accuracy, zero recoil and high consistency.
Before firing, it is necessary to make several pump movements each time to pressurize the air in the cartridge. The number of pump pulls can influence the resulting kinetic energy and thus the velocity of the bullet. You can easily take into account the distance at which you currently shooting. You can perform 3-8 pump pulls and with the maximum pressure you can achieve projectile velocity of 210 m/s.
The rifled barrel is made of steel, while the stock is made of lightweight polymer that is additionally roughened at the grip points to ensure better grip, which is especially beneficial during prolonged shooting.
Thanks to the sliding safety lock, you can always secure the air rifle between shots and thus prevent accidental discharges.
Mechanical sights are horizontally and vertically adjustable. Thanks to its low weight, the air rifle is suitable for novice shooters.
