New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The stylishly designed PCP air rifle BSA R12 CLX draws attention mainly thanks to its thumbhole walnut stock, which is complemented by a height-adjustable cheekpiece and a 3-way adjustable buttpad. In the lower part of the stock there are two sling swivel studs, which can also be used for attaching a bipod. The surface of the stock with its attractive wood texture has a smooth finish that changes to a textured surface in the grip areas.
The internal system of the air rifle is powered by compressed air stored in a bottle-type cylinder with a working pressure of 230 Bar and a volume of 280 cm3. The cylinder is filled using a quickfill adapter with a standard 1/8 BSP thread. The current pressure level can be monitored on the analog manometer located on the forearm. A built-in regulator ensures consistent shot-to-shot performance.
Shooting is operated via a side-lever action. Pulling the lever backwards cocks the mechanism, and returning it to its original position feeds a pellet from the 12-shot magazine directly into the barrel. To increase safety between shots, the system can be secured by a manual safety located at the rear of the action block.
The precise rifled and shrouded barrel has a length of 390mm and is finished with a sound moderator for maximum quiet shooting. As the air rifle is not equipped with open sights, it must be fitted with a suitable optic, for which a 13mm dovetail rail is provided.
The sport-style two-stage trigger allows adjustment of the trigger travel and trigger blade position in three directions.
The air rifle is supplied with a lock, two magazines, a quickfill adapter, and a service kit.
