Altaros

The Czech company Altaros has been a leading global manufacturer of regulators and accessories for PCP rifles since 2008.

The founder and current director of Altaros Air Solutions, Ing. Ondřej Plachý, started developing the first regulator while still studying at the Technical University of Liberec in 2006. By 2008, several hundred satisfied shooters were already using the regulator in their rifles. When he completed his studies in 2011, he began to focus full-time on producing accessories for PCP guns.

Today, Altaros offers a wide range of accessories for most well-known air rifle brands. Their extensive service experience is a big advantage, allowing them to provide highly expert advice and propose solutions for every shooter.

The company has recently passed an important milestone and has embarked on the development of its own air rifles. This led to the creation of the semi-automatic Altaros SA Assassin, which uses only the residual air from the barrel for re-cocking and is the first in the world to operate even at low power levels of 7.5 J and 16 J. Until recently this was unthinkable for semi-autos, and even much more famous brands failed in this area.

The second model, Altaros M24, is based on the M24 sniper rifle of the US Army. It is still under development, but already during testing it has achieved a group of 1 MOA at 200 m and has hit targets at 550 metres; there is simply nothing more to add to such impressive performance.
