Introducing a brand-new addition to the family of PCP air rifles from the Czech manufacturer AirMaks Arms. Just like its predecessors, this model has borrowed its name from the animal kingdom – this time it carries the name of a highly venomous snake from the cobra family.
AirMaks Krait X is the longest variant in this product line and differs from the standard version by its extended barrel and larger air cylinder. It still retains fairly compact dimensions and a pleasant weight. The overall length of the rifle does not exceed 885 mm and its weight is 3.1 kg.
Shrouded barrel with a 1/17.7 twist rate is 700 mm long and its muzzle is equipped with a 1/2x20 UNF thread for mounting an external sound moderator. This barrel is a perfect choice for long-range slug shooting.
The symmetrical wooden stock is equipped with a height-adjustable cheekpiece and a rubber buttpad, for which you can adjust both length and height. Excellent ergonomic properties are further enhanced by the anatomically shaped pistol grip.
The side lever has a very smooth operation and, if needed, it can be easily switched to the other side. The magazine can hold 14 pellets in 6.35 mm calibre.
Two-stage trigger is fully adjustable and directly above it is located a manual safety, which can also be moved to the other side.
The Kevlar air cylinder with a capacity of 700 cc and a filling pressure of 300 Bar is complemented by a Power Plenum with a capacity of 60 cc. Compared to the traditional Lite version, it does not offer external regulator adjustment, only the option of fine-tuning the hammer.
Picatinny rail with a 20 MOA incline allows you to mount a riflescope, and a lower mounting rail of the same standard can be found under the air cylinder. This allows you to attach additional tactical accessories.
