The controls are also designed accordingly and are ambidextrous. The side biathlon-style cocking system operates smoothly and can be swapped to the other side. A standard 22 mm Weaver rail is provided for scope mounting.
The manufacturer has also paid attention to safety: the rifle is equipped with a manual safety, located directly above the trigger and easily reachable with the index finger of the shooting hand. The second safety feature is the striker safety at the rear of the action. Below it is a loaded chamber indicator, which signals a pellet loaded in the barrel.
The very accurate barrel from Lothar Walther is 520 mm long in both available calibres. It is covered along its entire length by an integrated moderator, making the shot really quiet. To achieve a stable performance, a pressure regulator is built into the rifle. An adjustable trigger is standard.
The air cylinder has a working pressure of up to 300 BAR and a capacity of 350 cm³. The pressure gauge from Wika is, as always, easy to read and is located on the front of the cylinder; directly behind it is the filling port for a quickfill valve.
Two magazines are supplied with the rifle, each with a capacity of 13 pellets in 6.35 mm calibre. Their simple and robust design deserves mention, as it makes the rifle even more reliable.
