We spent a long time looking for an air rifle in our range also for the smallest beginner shooters, and the AN500 model is made exactly for this purpose. Its length does not even reach one meter – it is exactly 995 mm – and the weight is only 2300 g.
This air rifle has a steel rifled barrel, which is protected by a polymer cover. Thanks to this polymer, the barrel is also much easier to hold when cocking. The safety is located in front of the trigger and is therefore easy to operate. The gun features a high-quality polymer stock with an ergonomic shape. On the rear of the stock there is a rubber butt pad that increases shooting comfort. The stock is universal, so the gun can be used by both left- and right-handed shooters.
This model is also equipped with fiber optic sights (TRU-GLO system). Thanks to this system, you can shoot even in low-light conditions. If the open sights are not sufficient for you, you can mount a scope on the air rifle using the 11 mm dovetail.
Our experience: At the beginning we were skeptical about this gun, but as soon as we tested it for the first time, we have to say it is the best air rifle for getting started with shooting. The advantages are the fiber optic sights and the universal polymer stock. Thanks to these, children can take turns shooting, and the gun can also handle rougher use.
