Third generation of the successful Vulcan series from Czech manufacturer Airgun Technology combines a compact bullpup design, high air capacity, and a precisely engineered mechanism. The Vulcan 3 model is available in several barrel length and power configurations, as well as in different stock versions.
Shrouded barrel and integrated moderator
The barrel is concealed along its entire length in a massive metal shroud ending with an integrated sound moderator. Its enlarged internal volume helps effectively reduce the report of the shot. If you need to make the shot even quieter, there is an M14x1.25 thread at the muzzle for installing an additional external moderator.
Regulated air system
The supply of compressed air is provided by a carbon bottle with a maximum filling pressure of 300 bar. Filling is done using the supplied fill probe with 1/8" BSP thread and a pressure hose.
The improved pressure regulator reduces the high air pressure from the bottle and maintains a constant output pressure supplied to the Power Plenum. Each shot thus uses a precisely metered amount of air regardless of the gradual pressure drop in the bottle. The result is a consistent muzzle velocity, stable pellet trajectory, and excellent accuracy throughout the usable fill range.
Rigid and compact construction
The basis of the entire series is a redesigned one-piece monoblock, which increases the overall rigidity of the structure. Thanks to the bullpup layout, the barrel starts in the rear part of the stock, so even with a longer barrel the air rifle remains very compact.
The biathlon-style side lever is located directly above the trigger, so there is no need to significantly change the position of the shooting hand when cycling the action.
After removing the top mounting rail, the lever can be moved to the opposite side. Vulcan 3 is therefore suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The manual safety is located in the trigger guard in front of the trigger.
Mounting optics and accessories
For mounting a riflescope there is a top 22mm Weaver/Picatinny rail with a 20 MOA incline. Its slope makes it easier to set up the optics for shooting at longer distances.
Another removable 22mm rail is located on the underside of the fore-end and is intended primarily for mounting a bipod or other accessories.
