The plain edge blade with a drop-point profile is, as with most Victorinox knives, made of stainless steel with a high chromium content, known as “Inox”. The spine of the blade is jimped for more reliable control with the thumb or index finger. And if you don’t use the Thumb Stud to open the knife, you will certainly appreciate the option to unscrew it. When opened, the blade is secured with a back-lock mechanism.
The characteristic feature of this knife is its ergonomically shaped handle with textured alox scales (embossed aluminium with an anodised surface finish), and of course it also bears the Victorinox logo. A sturdy removable metal clip allows easy attachment to a belt or pocket. At the end of the handle there is a hole with a paracord lanyard threaded through it.
