Venox has used a durable aluminium alloy here, thanks to which the bipod easily withstands recoil. The bipod legs are adjustable in 4 positions from 13.5 cm up to a length of 24 cm. Adjustment is possible using the lock at the top of the leg. You unlock it by sliding the entire metal ring down. Even though you have to retract the leg into the body manually, you can easily do it with one hand.
Compared to classic bipods, which have only two positions, parallel and perpendicular to the barrel, the Venox V8 boasts five different positions (0°, 45°, 90°, 135° and 180°), allowing you to quickly and easily set the bipod to suit any shooter. Whether you shoot with forward pressure against the gun or by pulling the gun towards you, you will find a suitable position so that the rifle does not move an inch. You can move the leg only after pressing the silver manual safety, which is located just below the screw that secures the leg in the joint.
